Hi.We have our vaca package with DDP booked for Dec. 3- Dec 12. Is this a good time to go? Also I have planned to spend 2 days in AK 2 days at Epcot 1 day at HS and 4 days at Magic Kingdom. Does this seem like a good amount of time in each park?

Hi Kaylynn! Early December is a fantastic time to visit Walt Disney World! You won't have to deal the heat of summer, and the park attendance levels are usually low during this period so you should be able to ride lots of attractions with minimal waiting.

Your 9-day trip will give you lots of time to experience all that Walt Disney World has to offer. If I were you, I'd probably plan on spending 2 days at Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom, and 3 days at the Magic Kingdom. Because Hollywood Studios has a lot of shows that start at different times, it may take two days for you to see all of them. My family was discussing our upcoming Disney vacation last night at dinner, and my tween-age kids requested that we spend that most time in Hollywood Studios. They love the attractions there! Younger kids, however, might give the edge to Magic Kingdom.

You might want to plan to try a different park for each of the first four days of your vacation, and then if there's one or two that your family really loves or you feel you need more time to explore, you can readjust your schedule to include more time in that one.
