Hi,we are travelling from Argentina on Dec 12 (fisrt trip!). As you can imagine, my kids (4&7) only speak Spanish. Are there any attractions that they can enjoy in Spanish? Are there any attractions that we need avoid as they won´t be able to unde

    ¡Hola Sebastian!

Congratulations on your family's first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Your entire family is going to fall in love with the most magical place on earth!

I do not have a list of all the attractions that offer translations to Spanish, but I know that there are several rides and attractions throughout Disney Theme Parks that will provide Spanish translation via wireless translation device units. For example, at Magic Kingdom the translation device units are absolutely necessary for rides such as the Carousel of Progress and Monsters Inc., Laugh Floor. The same could be said of Universe of Energy and Living with the Land at Epcot. All these attractions could be enjoyed, but not fully experienced, by someone who doesn't understand English.

Translation device units will provide Spanish translations so your children can enjoy the attractions at Disney in their native language. You can request translation device units at any Disney Guest Relations location. These units are offered free of charge. However, you will be required to place a $100 deposit, per unit, to guarantee their safe return. You can place the deposits on a credit card. The deposits will then be refunded back into your credit card, once you return the translation device units to Guest Relations later in the day.

Please let me know if I can answer any other Disney Vacation planning questions for you. Now you can ask us "en español" too! Visit us at Walt Disney Moms Panel español, or come back here!

Enjoy a most magical first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
