Hi, We are traveling to WDW for the Halloween party, but then have a gap of about 3 days before we go back and spend 7 days at WDW. If we buy a Memory Maker pass, will it cover us over the course of the entire vacation?

    Martin:

I've been getting ready for our family's next trip to Disney and have been doing a little research of my own on Disney's new Memory Maker that was introduced last year. We're choosing it over PhotoPass so that we can automatically get all of the pictures from the rides to enjoy--and laugh at--from our trip.

You have two expiration dates with Memory Maker: how long a photo will stay in your account and how long you can use the Memory Maker service itself under your initial purchase. A photo expires from your account 45 days after it was taken. Your Memory Maker "window" begins from the day you download your first photo. The window is 30 days. So essentially, you could have a photo that has a longer life-span than your Memory Maker window if you choose to immediately begin downloading, let's say, to post a picture from MM of you and your kids on Buzz Lightyear to Facebook. Otherwise, if you're like me, I plan to wait until I return home to use the "Download All" button and dump them all on flash drive to make a scrapbook. And with the 45-day photo expiration and 30-day window, I know I'll have plenty of time to make the most of Memory Maker.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
