Hi, We are taking a trip from Australia to DW in September and we have a 4.5 year old. Do you have to book and how long before, and if yes how to book from Australia or when we get there.

    Hi Darren!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

As soon as you know your travel dates for September I would recommend you make your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservations.  There is a very wide choice of accommodations to choose from, and as these are very popular you would be advised to make your reservations before you arrive, to avoid disappointment.  Resort room-only reservations can be made by calling (US number) 407 939-7429 or Vacation Package Bookings 407 939-7675 or online.

Details of Walt Disney World Resorts hotels can be found here.

It is also highly recommended that you make some dining reservations, as the popular restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort become fully booked very quickly.  Reservations can be made by calling (US number) 407 939 3463, or online, up to 180 days ahead of time.  Details of restaurants can be found here.

As this is your first visit to Walt Disney World, if I can help you make a decision on which Resort would suit your family, and which restaurants you might enjoy, please send me a direct question with more details, and I would be vey happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
