HI, We want to go to Disneyland during the holidays, there are 5 of us 3 adults 2 kids (17,4). Would it be better to get and annual pass before we go for one of us? And use the discounts on the hotels and food? Or better off just buy the 5 day hoppers? Th

    Aloha Erica,

Visiting the Disneyland Resort during the Holidays is our favorite time of year to visit. You will feel like you stepped into a Disney Winter Wonderland!

This is a good question to think about. Having a Disneyland Annual Passport has so many benefits like valuable discounts on Disney Dining, merchandise discounts, Guided Tours discounts, special rates at the Resort Hotels, savings on Seasonal Event Tickets, and the option to visit The Happiest Place on Earth as often as your heart desires.

That being said, since you plan to visit during the Holidays, the Premium Annual Passport is the only passport that does not have a Blockout during that time frame. I would suggest checking with the resort hotel you plan on staying at to compare the standard rate and the Premium Annual Passport discounted priced for the dates of your stay. Also, factor in how many times you plan on eating at participating Disney Dining spots (where Annual Passport discounts are offered) and subtract 15% (discount on dining with the Premium Annual Passport). Lastly, you will want to think about how much you plan on purchasing Disney merchandise, estimate your souvenir spending, and subtract approximately 20% (the listed merchandise discount is "up to 20%" with the Premium Annual Passport). If all of your estimated discounts, added up, are more than the $669.00 cost of the Premium Annual Passport then I would say it's worth it.

I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please write me back on how I can help plan your pixie-dusted vacation.

Wishing you magic. Have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious day!
