Hi,we have 2 girls, age 6 & 4, will go to WDW for 4 days. Should I go to one park each day? My kids have been to Disneyland & CA Adventures in CA several times, should I skip Magic Kingdom or Disney Hollywood & go to Epcot 2 days instead?

    Hi Lien!

Wow, it is so wonderful that your family is going to experience Walt Disney World soon!  I have been to Disneyland and California Adventure three times since 2005.  I love both Disneyland and Walt Disney World.  I know from my experience that Disneyland and Walt Disney World are not the same at all. The Magic Kingdom in Disneyland in California has some rides that are similar to the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, but even within similar rides there are major differences.  Also each Magic Kingdom has rides, attractions, and shows that are completely unique to that location.  Also Walt Disney World is quite a bit larger (actually Walt Disney World Property is 47 square miles) than Disneyland and there is a lot more to see and experience.

I would recommend that you spend a day in each of the Walt Disney World Parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom).  Also it will help you to have a plan of attack, meaning have a list of the rides and shows that your family must do in each Park because it is very difficult to do everything in a Park in one day. The more research that you do before your trip will help you to know what you want to ride and it will actually enable you to ride more rides in each Park.

I hope that your trip to Walt Disney World is truly magical!
