Hi, We have the $200 free disney gift card within our booking when we stay in August. i was just wondering are you able to use this gift card towards tips or is it just on merchandise? Thanks

Hello, Carl. How exciting! An extra $200 sounds like a great excuse to plan something extra special, like an In-Room Celebration or a nice dinner at the all new restaurant, The Boathouse. Their Mahi Mahi tacos are to die for.

Last month I went down down for a trip with mostly Disney Gift Cards and was able to add gratuity to my dining bills. I remember doing this at Table Service Restaurants like the Liberty Tree Tavern, and also at lounges like the Uzima Springs Pool Bar and the Tambu Lounge. It doesn't hurt to ask each location if they accept the Disney Gift Card and if you can add gratuity to your payment. I don't think that you can tip bellman, Disney's Magical Express bus transportation, or housekeeping with the Disney Gift Card, so I suggest that you carry cash as well.

You can use Disney Gift Cards on food, merchandise, tickets, Walt Disney World Resort stays, and extras. I just used a Disney Gift Card on a reservation for Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. As you can see there are many ways to use your Disney Gift Card.

Have so much fun on your trip, I know you'll find a way to put that magical $200 to good use. If you need anything else you know where to find us!
