Hi,this is our first trip w/ 4 & 6 yr old gls we r traveling 12/29-1/4/13. We like the outdoors, for the most part we have decided on the Fort Wilderness Resort w either Plus or Delux plans. We thought we would only visit Magic Kgdm any advice wld help.

    Hello, Amy!

My goodness! What an exciting trip you're planning with your little princesses!

Because you love the outdoors, your family is really going to enjoy your stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. So many folks fall in love with this resort that they'll never stay anywhere else at Walt Disney World.

Regarding your Dining Plan options, take a look at the menus on both Walt Disney World's website and on one of my favorite unofficial sites, allears.net. You'll be able to get a better idea of what kinds of food you'd like to enjoy while on your trip and make a more informed decision at that time. Pay special attention to the reviews of restaurants and Dining Plans on allears.net, too, then send us more questions as you think of them.

In addition to visiting Magic Kingdom Park, I highly suggest that you also visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Because you've stated that you love the outdoors, I am certain that you and your girls will just love this park, too. There are just so many fantastic attractions which focus on the animals; you'll never experience anything quite like it...or as magically done...as this park. Don't miss it!

Again, as you plan your days at each park and at your resort, too, send more questions as you think of them; I'd love to help!
