    April from IN Asked

Historically, when are the dates for special events (MVMCP) put out for reservation? And park hours? Wondering if that info will be out when 180 days out for dining and 60 days out for FP. Dec 8-14, 2019 Certainly will help with planning

    Hi, there!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, April. I'm so glad you stopped by!

I love planning my family's Walt Disney World Resort vacations. Planning is half the fun! The days that my dining reservation and FastPass+ windows "open up" are practically holidays in my house, so I totally understand wanting schedules ahead of those dates. Last year, reservations for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party became available in March. Reservations for other events, like dessert parties from the Enchanting Extras Collection, sometimes aren't available until just 3-months in advance. Typically, theme parks hours are released 6-months ahead of time. I have two recommendations:

    • Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. It's your best resource for news and updates about the Walt Disney World Resort (and other Disney vacation destinations)! The Disney Parks Blog will post announcements throughout the year, so check back often!
    • If there's a particular offering you're interested in like a Candlelight Processional Dining Package, check the event page on the Walt Disney World Resort website frequently. One day, reservations will magically pop up and you'll be ready to grab one!

I hope this was helpful, April. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
