    Gregg from IL Asked

Hi My wife is interested in wellness activities, not SPA, at DW. We usually stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Thinking about a couple days where she does wellness type activists, and a few days we do the Parks together. Offerings and options? Thank you. Gregg

    Greetings Gregg,

What a perfect question to bring to us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love that you are looking for places for your wife to center herself in the center of the most magical place on earth. There are quite a few options on property for your wife to relax and rejuvenate. Currently, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa offers Sunrise Yoga Monday and Wednesday at 7 a.m. near the Congress Park Pool. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge also offers yoga Monday and Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. You gather at the Boulder Ridge Cove Pool Deck rain or shine! The Sunrise Yoga at All Star Movies Resort is Friday at 8:15 a.m. On Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:30 a.m. Yoga on the Lawn is held at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Mats and towels are complimentary at all sessions. The instructor-led classes are limited to 20 guests, always check the current activity calendar of the resort as activities and programs are subject to change.

While Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge does not currently have yoga on-site, Zahanati Massage & Fitness Center offers a place for your wife to recharge her mind, body, and spirit. There is state of the art fitness equipment, a sauna and steam room as well as spa services in which she can indulge. Another option a short ride away is The Fitness Centre & Day Spa at AdventHealth Celebration. Its mission is to inspire individuals to achieve whole-body health. The Centre offers both day and weekly pass options.

Gregg, I hope you and your wife have an energized vacation. Namaste.
