Is the Hilton Head resort for DVC members only or can anyone stay? Is it more kidfriendly or romantic getaway. We go to SC 2-3 times a year and were considering a few days side trip Is it worth it and any suggestions about it. Thx moms/dads Luv the panel

    Hi Angela,

Welcome to the Moms Panel - great question!  Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort is one of my absolute favorite vacation destinations, and you'll be happy to hear that you do not need to be a Disney Vacation Club member to stay there.

The resort is very quiet and extremely comfortable - the pool areas tend to be very busy with children and families, but otherwise the grounds are relatively quiet.  We enjoyed kayaking, biking, shopping as well as resort activities with the children.  We spent plenty of time on the beach and there are numerous hammocks thoughout the resort which is the perfect place for a little R&R.

Reservations can be made by calling (407) 939-7828.

Let me know if you have any other questions about this resort!
