Hi.leaving for disney in 3 weeks.going for first time with 12 & 6 yr old..staying off site..want a park & relaxing vacation.can u reccomend a schedule to stick to/ which parks and should we stay all day or leave and come back.night activities?

    Hi there Janet!

Be sure to stop by any Guest Services location inside the Disney theme parks to request free "1st Visit" celebration buttons for your children to announce this momentous occasion to cast members and other park guests!

The decision regarding taking a midday break has a lot to do with the stamina of the members of your travel party and how far away your offsite hotel is from the Disney park you're visiting that day. If it seems like the distance and drive time is unrealistic, then I would recommend scheduling a table-service meal for some relaxation. Due to popularity, you'll want to make advanced dining reservations online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE prior to leaving home.

Another option to rest your feet and kick back would be to visit some of the indoor attractions or shows. The Walt Disney World Railroad is a great way to take a 20 minute break while enjoying the sights and sounds of the Magic Kingdom Park. Check out the attraction guides provided at each theme park entrance for similar ideas.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your Disney vacation be practically perfect in every way!
