Hi I'm planning on a vacation to Disneyland this Nov. I'm trying to decide if the first week of November is better, or mid month (13-18). Can anyone give me some advise :) Also wondering what the firework/ Fantasmic schedule would be for the later.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julie!

I have to say, one of the best trips I have ever taken to the Disneyland Resort was during the first week of November. The weather was absolutely divine, the crowds just happened to be pretty light, and we even got several glimpses of the Holiday decor going up around the parks. Also, the first week in November is when one of my favorite events happens at the Disneyland Resort: Dapper Day! Although this isn't an official Disney event, it is so much fun and lots of people participate. Essentially, folks get all dolled up and wear their most dapper attire to tour the parks on this day. The people watching on Dapper Day is just spectacular! Fall Dapper Day is Sunday, November 5, and they usually offer some amazing rates on rooms at the Disneyland Resort Hotels and deals on tickets.

However, if you want to ensure that you get the full Holiday experience, including the Holiday overlays on "it's a small world" and Jungle Cruise (these attractions are typically closed to receive the overlays in early November), then you will want to explore dates in mid to late November. As for the schedules for fireworks and Fantasmic!, keep your eye on the entertainment schedule as your dates approach. Also, follow the Disney Parks Blog for the official announcements of the Holidays and the details about the return of Fantasmic!

No matter when you choose, you will end up having a simply magical time at the Disneyland Resort! Happy planning!
