Hi I'm planning a trip to Disneyland Sept. 7 thru Sept. 12 2018. We have never been during this time of year. The kids want to know if there will be fireworks and parades since it is during off season. Thank you

Hi there, Patti! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so glad that you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort this fall! This year, your travel dates will probably fall into a bit of a transition time at the parks. Pixar Fest is scheduled to end on September 3rd and Halloween Time doesn't usually start until the middle of September. It's a bit too early to know the entertainment schedule for certain, but typically during the fall, you can count on fireworks and Fantasmic! at least on the weekends and World of Color usually performs nightly.

As far as parades, unless the Pixar Play Parade and Paint the Night get extended, there may not be any parades until the Frightfully Fun Parade takes place during Mickey's Halloween Party on select nights. It's possible that the Soundsational Parade could return after Pixar Fest concludes, but there hasn't been any details released about that particular parade as of yet.

What your family will be able to enjoy is all the reimagined fun at Pixar Pier! Opening on June 23rd will be the Incredicoaster and the Pixar Pal-A-Round. Plus, you can enjoy dining at the all new Lamplight Lounge! You'll also have a great time riding favorite attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Radiator Springs Racers, and many, many more.

Definitely keep your eye on the entertainment schedule and the Disney Parks Blog as your travel dates approach for the most current news. And please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have!
