hi, iam visiting disneyland in june and bringing a toddler who wont be old enough for many rides ,so i was wondering if there is child switch available for rides so the me and my husband can take turns for rides without waiting in line again?

Hello, Revathy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question. I am ecstatic that you and your family will soon be at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Traveling with a toddler to the Disneyland Resort is so much fun and I think you will be surprised at just how much you can all do together. First, attractions are based off of height, not age, and there are over 25 attractions that don't have any height requirements whatsoever. This means your toddler can ride with you on attractions like "it's a small world," Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Mad Tea Party, Toy Story Midway Mania, and so many more!

For the bigger, thrill attractions, the Disneyland Resort offers Rider Switch which is nearly exactly what you described. At an attraction that your child cannot ride, you can ask a Cast Member for a Rider Switch ticket. This allows one adult to ride and the other to wait with the child. Once the first adult is done, the second adult can then ride the attraction using an alternate entrance that usually has a much shorter wait. You can also use Disney FASTPASS service so each of you can ride separately within the one-hour return time window with very minimal waits.

Finally, make sure to spend some time in Mickey's Toontown and "a bug's land" as these are absolutely perfect for toddlers (and a lot of fun for parents too)!

We love helping families plan amazing trips to the Disneyland Resort, so please stop by again with any other questions!
