Hi, I have a 7 and 15 year old, who both want to go to one of the Disney water parks. My 15 year is a very good swimmer but 7 is barely swimming. Which of the two would you recommend to keep them both happy and entertained. Many thanks

    Greetings Zainab,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  My family loves the Disney Water Parks and have previously bought Water Park Annual Passes in order to make frequent trips to both Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park each year.

Based on my personal experience with my four children, I recommend Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park for your 7 and 15-year-old.  With its unique theming, Chairlift and thrilling family raft ride, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is unlike any water park I've previously visited. Although my family does love the Surf Pool at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, we found it to be too intense when our children were younger. We found Melt-Away Bay at Blizzard Beach to be the perfect level of intensity and fun for younger Guests.

What truly sets Blizzard Beach apart for our family is the Ski Patrol Training Camp. My four children could spend hours in this one area of the park in order to continuously attempt crossing the Thin Ice Training Course and experience the thrilling zip line, also known as Fahrenheit Drops. Your 15-year-old will love all of the thrilling water rides that await at this popular park.

Although you can't go wrong with either water park, I hope this information is helpful in making the best decision for your family. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
