Hi--I have a 7 year old who most definitively does NOT want to do certain rides (like HM or SM). Does the child in question have to be a "baby" in order for my husband and I to utilize the "baby swap"? Thanks for your help!

Nope. The "baby swap" goes by lots of other names too, including "child swap" and "rider swap." These names more effective communicate the idea that anyone can "swap" if there are people in their party who need supervision (any child, or even adults with certain handicaps) and can't (because they're not tall enough) or don't want to go on the ride (because of medical issues or just plain fear). Simply go up to the cast members attending the entrance at Space Mountain and the Haunted Mansion, explain your situation, and you will be given a "rider swap" pass.
