Hi! I understand rollaway beds are no longer available at the Disney resorts but I was wondering if air mattresses are available at PO Riverside? One of our rooms would have 3 people who prefer to sleep separately; this worked great at Wilderness Lodge :)

Hi, Susan! Thank you so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are correct, roll-away beds are not available at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Unfortunately, air mattresses are also not provided for Guests of the Resort. As a Mom to two children who are much happier when they do not have to share a bed, I know your dilemma well! Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Wilderness Lodge are great resorts for times when more than two separate beds are needed. These two Deluxe Resorts provide a separate Bunk Bed booking category to ensure a comfy bed for each member of your party.

Several of Disney's Moderate Resorts also offer you a "three-bed solution." The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are furnished with bunk beds alongside a Queen bed in the bedroom. Two of the Moderate Resorts have added a pull-down Murphy bed to many rooms' sleeping accommodations. These beds are slightly smaller than a traditional twin-size bed, measure around 64" long x 30" wide, and are built into the storage area of the room. When looking at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, note that these beds are found throughout the Alligator Bayou section of the Resort, but not in the Magnolia Bend section, where you will find the Royal Guest Rooms. Likewise, these beds are installed in all rooms of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort except for the Pirate-themed rooms.

Susan, I hope the size of the pull-down beds in these rooms fit your Guests' needs. If you would like to discuss your room options further, feel free to stop by again and we would be more than happy to find other ways you can try to help your Guests get a great night's sleep!
