Hi! I just read that I should have included my toddler in my ADR even though he will be using a high chair. I have already secured ADR for my trip in 8 days. Will I have an issue at the restaurants since I did not include him in the headcount?

    Hello Helene,

In an ideal world, all guests would be included in each reservation. This includes babies and toddlers as well as any guests who will be at the table but not eating (for medical reasons, for example). However, Disney is aware that sometimes things don't work out exactly as planned.

It's not uncommon for a party to arrive at a dining reservation with one or two fewer people than planned, due to illness or fatigue, or to arrive with an extra person or two because you've miscounted or run into friends at the park. The restaurant hosts can typically work with minor changes such as these quite easily.

I wouldn't worry about the party size issue too much. You're unlikely to receive pushback at the restaurants. Just be apologetic to the restaurant hosts and the worst case scenario has you waiting a few extra minutes for the right size table.

Personally, I would not try to tinker with your reservations on the computer. The cast members in person will be able to work with you, but you'll be unlikely to get the exact same reservations electronically.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. We're happy to help.
