Hi,I have purchased quick dining for our trip next May and wanted to know what snacks are included. When I've checked they seem to include Starbucks, icecream sundaes etc on the menus or do we only get a small selection from the menu?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Diane! The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to leave worry at home and get down to business. My tummy gets all rumbly during the day, so when we’re not having lunch at Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn, we’re grabbing snacks around the parks.

Snacks on the Disney Dining Plan are food items that are essentially single serve items like a Mickey Ice Cream bar, a piece of fruit,  bottle of water, or a cupcake. You can find Snack items all over the theme parks and resorts in Quick-Service restaurants, standalone carts, walk up windows and even some merchandise locations like Main Street Confectionary. You’ll be able to know immediately if the item is a snack by the small purple box DDP logo located next to them on the menu board (these do not show online). My family will often stretch a snack or two into a meal, by bringing bottled water to the parks (you can also get a complimentary cup of ice water at most Quick Service eateries WITHOUT standing in line!) and grabbing a muffin or smoothie. For my family, that's a yummy breakfast! If you happen not to use your snack credits until your last day of vacation, remember that snack credits can be spend on pre-packaged items like pretzels, rice krispy treats or candies. You can put all those extra snacks into your suitcase and keep the magic going at home!

If I can help you sniff out some more tasty treats, please let me know. I’m making a list of all my must-haves for my next trip! ~ Lindsey P.
