Hi, I am new Florida resident and I was thinking of going for a Annual pass. But my LO is just 17 months old. Are there any rides, entertainment for less than 2 yrs? Would it be worth to spend on Annul pass with a 17 month old? Thanks,

    Hi Pooja!

Florida Resident Annual Pass? Yes! Plenty of entertainment for the under-2 crowd? Yes! The magic is strong with toddlers. Seriously though, I purchased an Annual Pass for the first time this year and have loved being able to take spontaneous trips to Walt Disney World. Your little one may be 17-months-old right now, but he or she will be a 2-year-old soon. The memories you can make in that year of growth are priceless.

I have a 2-year-old now (and have had 4 two-year-olds before that), and the excitement on her face when she sees Minnie Mouse melts my heart. Her eyes narrow, her smile widens, and her hand covers her mouth as she tries to hide her giggles. She then runs toward Minnie and throws her arms around her from pure joy. Character interaction is just one of my favorite things about taking young children to Walt Disney World.

Another reason I suggest taking a child under two is because there are a lot of attractions she can experience. Magic Kingdom park has the most attractions for little ones. Fantasyland and New Fantasyland are like pictures out of storybooks. My 2-year-old mentions riding Dumbo the Flying Elephant at least twice a week.  You can also check out the Planning for Preschool Kids page that offers tips for dining, entertainment, and attractions for little ones.

Baby Care Centers in all 4 theme parks make diaper changes easy peasy. They have a main room with a television and provide high chairs and a feeding area if you need it. I also suggest going at your little one's pace and schedule, because a tired little one is still a cranky little one, even in the Most Magical Place on Earth.

And my number one reason for getting an Annual Pass? Your little one is free! Happy planning!
