Hi, I am making my first trip to WDW in April and will be attending Villains After Hours (on my birthday!!). Can I use dining plan snack credits to buy the special event snacks (e.g. Poison Apple Cupcake etc.)? Thank you

    Hi Kate!

Happy Birthday to you. I can’t think of a better place to spend your birthday than at the Walt Disney World Resort. Make sure to stop by Guest Services to pick up an “I’m Celebrating” pin.

I hope that you are gearing up for a wickedly good time! The Disney Villains After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park is a fantastic time, especially if you were born to be bad! One of the first things you will notice is the music and frightful lighting, which truly sets the tone for the night. Not only will you be able to participate in themed photo opportunities throughout the park, but you will also get to see Maleficient – the fire-breathing dragon as she makes her way through the park twice during this event (weather dependent.)

Just thinking about the Sinfully Delicious Treats has me getting hungry! Included with your admission is Ice Cream, Popcorn & Select Beverages. Also, there is a wide assortment of villain-themed food and beverage offerings available for purchase. I am hoping to try the new “Painting the Roses Red” dessert, which is a cheesecake mousse with raspberry gelee, red cocoa butter, and buttercream leaves. While I don’t have a list of the options eligible for purchase with your Disney Dining Plan snack credits, last year, many of these offerings were available for purchase using the Dining Plans. Just look for the Disney Dining Plan logo next to the snacks and select beverages to see if your sinful treat is eligible.

I hope that you have the most magical birthday yet!
