Hi, Can you please verify if the Cinderella Princess Promenade (Afternoon lobby dance with Prince Charming) is going on at Grand Floridian? If not, is there an expected return date? Thanks, Ashley

    Greetings, Queen Ashley!

Welcome to the Royal Court of the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can hEAR the song in my head as I type, “I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream…” I’m even waltzing in my seat!

The Princess Promenade is currently on hiatus at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The procession took a break over the holidays (between the tree and the gingerbread house, our girl had nowhere to dance!), and is slated to return soon. Keep an EAR out on the Disney Parks Blog, as that will be the first place to announce the return of the afternoon ball!

In the meantime, there are plenty of Princessy things to do at the Resort! One of my favorite activities is to take afternoon tea at the Garden View Tea Room. The sandwiches are scrumptious, and the atmosphere transports me to Downtown Abbey! If you prefer a fairytale encounter, you can meet Aurora and friends at the Perfectly Princess Tea Party or THE couple themselves at 1900 Park Fare.

Ashley, if you have any other questions, we are always delighted to help. Don’t be late for your very important date!
