R the hibachi grill items at Tokyo Dining pretty much the same ingredients/cooking style/taste as the ones you'd be served at Tppn Edo, just w/out seeing it cooked in front of you? Do you miss out on any food items for the hibachi entrees by eating at TD?

    Hi Meghan,

Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining share kitchen space, so the ingredients used for these two restaurants are the same.

Theoretically, the Japanese-style grill items served at TD are supposed to be similar to those served at TE. However, I have seen several review where the sushi at TD is praised, but the grill items are found lacking. The presentation and taste of the grill foods are both typically found lacking when they are served at TD. Personally, if I wanted grill food, I'd go to Teppan Edo. (Again, the sushi at Tokyo Dining is good.)

Also, the menus are not the same at the two restaurants. You can see the full menus for both restaurants by going to the independent website allears.net. You can compare/contrast the food offerings to see which works best for your family.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
