Hey Moms! We are going to WDW with our 17 month old daughter. I was wondering if it would be worth taking her to Tike's Peak at Blizzard Beach or if she would be too small to enjoy the lil water slides and tot-spot?

Welcome to the Moms Panel Nicole!

We were just at Blizzard Beach a couple of weeks ago and had a blast!

Tike's Peak at Blizzard Beach offers younger guests less than 48 inches tall their own watery play  area.  The kids in that area looked like they were having tons of fun.

Guests under 3 are admitted free so there won't be a charge for your daughter.  If you plan to trade off so that one of you watches your daughter while the other one does some of the larger attractions, you may find it worth your money and time. If you have other older children, they will likely love Blizzard Beach so again, it would be worth the money.

If your tickets include the Water Park Fun & More Option,  then its certainly worth it to go to Blizzard Beach.

However, if you are thinking of going with the main purpose of visiting Tike's Peak I may wait until she's a little older especially if you're staying at a resort with a cool pool.  When my kids were that age, we opted to stay at the pool versus spending the money to enter a water park.  Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon are amazing water parks but my boys were just as happy playing in the pool.  Now that they are older & able to do more of the attractions, the water parks are great for them & worth every penny.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
