Hey there! We will be traveling February 16-23 and plan to visit each park once & MK twice. We have 4 kids; 9,6,3, 18 months. Do you have any suggestions for existing plans that make the most of shorter lines, following a map, ect.

Hey, Jennifer and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

This is a great question. Please arrive at all theme parks 60 minutes before the official opening. Plan FastPass + selections beginning at 9:30 AM. With little ones stay in the theme parks till 1:30 PM then head to the hotel for a nap/pool time then back to the theme parks for evening magic. Here are some tips for preschoolers.

Let’s start with Magic Kingdom Park.

Lines are shortest at the beginning and at the end of the day. Remember you have an official 60-minute window to use your FastPass+ selections. Use Rider Switch on attractions that are best for your 6 and 9-year-olds. I like to take young adventurers to Fantasyland attractions first such as Peter Pan’s Flight then work my way clockwise to Storybook Circus then Tomorrowland. This attraction list is for Guests of “Any Height.” Pack an extra set of clothes in case they want to play in Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station. On your second day, start in Adventureland doing the more adventurous attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean with very little wait first.

Disney Dad Tip: Using Mobile Ordering through the My Disney Experience mobile app gets your Counter Service meals to you faster saving time in food lines.

I am happy to answer planning questions specific to each theme park for more details.
