Hey!!! I am running the Princess half in February and am wondering which is the best resort to book? I am bringing my 14yr old daughter who will stay in the resort while I am running, so I need safe, convenient (pick up location that am) and fun!

    Hi Jolie!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend was my first runDisney event so it holds a special place in my heart!

Anytime I have a friend visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, whether it's for a family trip or a runDisney event, I always recommend staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. In addition to some of the traditional benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel including MagicBands, Extra Magic Hours and complimentary airport transportation with Disney's Magical Express, you'll find it's even better during a runcation! You'll have all run related transportation provided to and from the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo plus the start and finish lines of each race. I would recommend looking at what is still available to book for your dates and go from there. One of my favorite hotels to recommend for folks participating in Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is Disney's BoardWalk Inn. In the past race courses have run right along the BoardWalk and you could potentially have a great view for your daughter right from your room!

Please come back and let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your upcoming runcation!
