Hey Moms! We are going as first timers with our 5 year old on her 5th birthday to magic kingdom. Any suggestions for her birthday and fast passes? Thank you.

    Hey Tracy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be celebrating your daughter's 5th birthday during your first Walt Disney World vacation!

Your daughter is going to love all of the attractions and entertainment options at Magic Kingdom Park. Consider booking a royal makeover for your princess at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, located inside Magic Kingdom Park, followed by a Character Dining experience at Cinderella's Royal Table. She will love being greeted by Disney Princesses while enjoying a delicious meal inside Cinderella Castle. You may also consider dining at the enchanting Be Our Guest Restaurant. Although Characters do not appear during breakfast or lunch, the Beast has always made an appearance when we've dined at this popular restaurant for dinner. I can attest desserts featuring the "Grey Stuff" really are delicious! Specialty cakes can be delivered to both of these dining locations.

Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday celebration button for your daughter from your Disney Resort hotel or Guest Relations at Magic Kingdom Park. She will love the birthday wishes she receives on her special day. There are also "1st Visit" celebration buttons available.

Although you will find there are so many FastPass+ experiences to choose from at the iconic park, I recommend Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Enchanted Tales with Belle. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train does have a minimum height requirement of 38 inches and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad of 40 inches.

I hope this is helpful, Tracy! Let us know if you have any new questions as you continue to plan a magical first trip!
