Hey moms, I know that guests can decorate their rooms, and I was wondering if you had any ideas how my daughter (18) and her friend (17) could decorate their resort room to celebrate their graduation (high school with associate of arts degrees)?

    Hi Danielle!

Wow! Congratulations to your daughter and her friend! What a wonderful way to celebrate such an amazing accomplishment. I like to celebrate every momentous occasion with a vacation to Walt Disney World whenever possible.

I just returned from Disney's Princess Half Marathon and one of my roommates surprised us by decorating the door, the mirror, and the wall with princess wall stickers and wall decals. They are removable and make no mess! She found hers at the Dollar Store, but they also sell different ones at stores such as Target and Wal-Mart. Other friends have used window decals to decorate windows or have used magnetic decorations.

I would suggest finding a theme that your daughter and her friend would love to see to remind them of how awesome they are. That could be a tiara, a graduation hat, Disney Characters, music symbols, etc. I do not suggest bringing anything that needs to be taped or could ruin the furnishings of the resort room. If you or they really want to go all out, then I would suggest contacting Disney Floral and Gifts who can assist you in creating a magical in-room celebration.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon. I wish your daughter and her friend a fantastical graduation celebration!
