Hey Moms! I'm going on a 4-Night Bahamian Cruise in March 2013 with my daughter who will be 16 and my son who will be 17. His birthday is in April and i was wondering if, since his birthday is so close, he will be able to go to Palo and do other 18+ stuff?

    Hi Mary,

You and your family are going to have such a great time!  It's a wonderful time of year to go to the Bahamas.  The weather is gorgeous!

Disney Cruise Line policy is that no one under the age of 18 is allowed to dine at Palo.  Palo is an adults (18+) exclusive dining experience.   In reference to the adult nightclubs, he is not allowed to do that either.  If there is an age specification on a port adventure it is not really up to Disney Cruise Line.  The port adventures are run by local companies not DCL.  It would be up to the outside vendor to decide if he could participate, but remember, those ages are specified for safety reasons.

I'm wishing you a very magical sailing.  If you have any other questions please let me know.  I'm happy to help.  Bon voyage!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
