    Hey Doug! Planning our FIRST ever trip on Oct 15-21 2011(DH, DD5, DS4 and myself)! Park hopper and deluxeDP Making a primitive list of which parks to do which days. Could you tell me typically when the "least' crowded day is for each park?

    Kayla,

    Boy, you are going at a GREAT time of year! You will love it then!

    So there used to be some good rules you could follow, relating to the days of the week. The Magic Kingdom was always busy on Mondays, and Epcot could get crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. Those two still apply, but most other rules really have gone away. What is left is this;

    • If you are going at a busy crowd time, avoid the Extra Magic Hours parks, as they will be the most crowded.
    • If you are going at a slower crowd time, enjoy those Extra Magic Hours, if you can!
    You are in the second group. While you can't be 100% sure what parks will have Extra Magic Hours on the days of your stay, you know that going after them is still a good idea. At least the morning ones for your family. The evening ones you won't be able to make much use of with tikes that age (like mine!).

    I know that is not a complete answer, but as you get closer to the day that you can make dining reservations, Disney will post the Extra Magic Hours.

    Does that help?

    Have a magical vacation!
