Hey Bret - Thanks for answering my question. So here is my follow-on...We are Vacation Club members, buy the annual pass and a dining plan when we come down and also purchase the yearly Disney Dining Experiance Card. Any other options we should look at?

    Glad you came back!

For those unfamiliar with the Disney Dining Experience, click HERE for a prior Q&A on the topic, and HERE for more info from Disney on the different Disney Dining Plan options (click the little arrow in front of the text "Disney Dining Plan for added convenience and savings" for helpful detail and a link to a very helpful "pdf" doc you can download).

I am a little uncertain why you need both the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) and the Disney Dining Experience (DDE).  The only situations I can think of where it might make sense is:
     1) If you are traveling with others who are not on the DDP, and you use the DDE card to discount their costs
    2) To get discounts on any alcohol purchases (which are not included in the DDP).

I must mention that the DDP might not be worth the money if you already have the DDE card (key exceptions might be if you plan to eat at many DDP restaurants that don't accept the DDE).  I recommend you run the numbers to make sure you really need both.  The menus at www.allears.net can be very helpful to calculate costs.

If your reason for having the DDE is to get discounts on wine, you might also consider the "Wine and Dine" option (click HERE for more detail).  It can save you about 20% on the cost of wine at your meals.

So, the "other options" I would recommend you look at are...
    1) Make sure you really need both the DDP and DDE
    2) Possibly consider the "Wine and Dine" option

Please write again if you have more details to help me make a more informed recommendation, or simply to ask for advice on other planning topics.
