Hey Andi tell all i need to know about the contemporary and best rooms to request even or odd rooms staying in tpv room so excited and 1st time to stay there

Hey, Crystal! Since The Contemporary is my favorite (for practical and nostalgic reasons), I could write a book about all the benefits, tricks and tips about this wonderful Walt Disney Resort. I'll try to boil it down for space!

If you're staying in the Tower with a Magic Kingdom view, you'll be in a room on floors 6-11 unless you're on the Concierge Level. I recommend floor 9 or higher for less noise from the Concourse (especially on the Chef Mickey side). If you request an odd number room, your bed faces the Magic Kingdom! Also, tune in to Channel 20 on your TV to have the soundtrack to Wishes simultaneously playing during the fireworks! In addition, confirm any recommendations you see on this or any forum since things in the "World" change quickly and sometimes without prior notice.

You probably already know about the dining options such as The California Grill, Chef Mickey's character meal, Contempo Cafe and The Wave. Did you know that Contemporary Grounds is a fab coffee bar located just inside the main entrance? You can get espressos, cappuccinos, smoothies and tea.

There's a hair salon and gym located on the "secret" 3rd floor which you can only access on the elevators -- the escalators go straight from the 2nd to the 4th floor.  Also, the bridge to Bay Lake Tower is a great place to watch the fireworks, too. The recreation and entertainment options also include the Sammy Duvall watersports centre where you can rent watercraft and go waterskiing or parasailing. Plus, the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage originates from The Contemporary.

I love that the monorail also gives you access to The Polynesian and The Grand Floridian and a direct boat taxi provides easy access to the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness, too. That's all I can squeeze in for now. Come back if you have more questions! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
