Hey Amanda! You really helped out planning my Sweet 16 two years ago! Going for spring break with family and want to know what to do besides spending all day at the parks. Special Dining? Dad and I plan to golf, what are best courses/times.

Hi Jennifer! I'm so happy to hear from you again! Disney definitely offers a lot to do outside of the theme parks. For a casual special dining experience, a trip to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at the Fort Wilderness Resort is lots of fun. The all-you-care-to-eat meal is tasty and satisfying and the entertainers will keep you laughing. Another fun experience at the Fort Wilderness Resort is horseback riding at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. My daughter and I really enjoyed our horseback riding experience -- I rode the same horse that Jasmine rides in the parades!

For an extra special meal, consider Victoria & Albert's at the Grand Floridian Resort. This award-winning, adult restaurant offers exquisite gourmet cuisine, and a meal there is a memorable experience that will take over two hours.

My family visited Disney World last year for Spring Break and on our non-park day, we went parasailing at Sammy Duvall's Watersports Centre at the Contemporary Resort. Soaring high over Bay Lake is exhilarating and the view of Disney World from the sky is breathtaking!

If you want to hit the links, Disney's 18-hole golf courses are all championship caliber and rated four stars by Golf Digest Magazine. The Magnolia Golf Course is the most challenging one, while Lake Buena Vista is generally considered to be the easiest. Since Florida can be quite warm in the spring, I recommend reserving early morning tee times.

Come visit me again if you have more questions!
