Here's a seemingly dumb ? re: the towel animals. Are they intended to be taken with you when you leave, or are they just to enjoy while you are there? I left ours this past trip, but would have loved to have brought them home for the grandbabies. . .

Not a dumb question at all. In fact, I had to ask this one myself just today. For those of you who don't know what a towel animal is ... The mousekeeper housekeepers at Walt Disney World, have created a special art form of making animals and characters out of towels. Some of them are very elaborate and beautiful.

Right now I am writing to you from a very cozy room at the Boardwalk resort (I'm trying to type quietly because the kiddos are still asleep). When we checked in, there was a completely cute towel clown waiting for us on one of the beds. The very first thing the girls did was announce that they were bringing him home with us. Hmmmmm. What to do? So I stopped at the front desk on our way out to Disney's Hollywood Studios and asked if that we permitted. The cast member at the desk assured me that the towel creatures are a gift for the guest. We'll be bringing our towel clown back to New York with us this afternoon. Now we just have to figure out whose room the little guy gets to live in :-)
