HELPwe are planning our first WDW trip for my first marathon in Jan 2013. We are bringing our two boys (2.5 yrs and 1 yr ) thinking about staying at Pop Century? Is dining plan worth it or would it be wiser to pack lunches? Also best must see/do?

    Hi there, Kelly!

    Congratulations on your first race!

Disney's Pop Century is loads of family fun; you'll have a terrific time.

Since you are coming in for a race, your schedule might be a bit tricky at times. The dining plan does require some level of structure; if you wish to purchase one, I would strongly recommend the quick service plan. This will not require any reservations or advanced scheduling.

Children under three (3) do eat free from an adult's plate at Walt Disney World. If you and your children are small eaters, then the quick service option might be workable; if not, I would suggest that you consider bringing your own items for lunches.

For your kids' ages, don't miss Magic Kingdom. Classic rides and character abound. Beyond that, without knowing more about your little ones, I hesitate to recommend anything that might be overwhelming to them. But Magic Kingdom I can say with assurance will be a joy for them to experience.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
