Help! Trying to decide between 2 rooms. The two bdrm at the Beachclub Villas Suite or the two bdrm suite at the Swan.Swan is quite a bit less $ but how much farther of a walk is it from the Swan to Epcot? I know the BCVillas is nicer but the budget?

Hi, Connie!  I recently stayed at the Swan and we really enjoyed it!  The pool area is just awesome, the location is perfect, and there are great restaurants in both the Swan and Dolphin.   (It is about an extra 5 - 10 minute walk to the Swan from Epcot as compared to the Beach Club.   You can also walk to Hollywood Studios!)

There are some "hidden costs" involved with staying at the Swan.   First, if you are driving, there is a parking fee.  While it can always change, self parking was $11 per day plus tax.   If you DON'T have a car, you will need to have transportation to and from the airport, as Disney's Magical Express service is not included at these 2 resorts.   There is also a daily Resort Fee (I think it was about $10 per day.)

If you are on a budget, and after figuring in the extra costs of the Swan it is still cheaper, I think it is a good way to stay in a great location for a decent price.   We really liked it there and would definitely stay again.

    Good luck deciding!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
