    Jessica from WA Asked

Can you help me schedule what parks to go to from Dec. 11 through Dec. 20th? We arrive late on Dec. 11 and leave around 5 pm on the 20th. Thanks moms!!

Hi, Jessica! Sounds like you've got a week and a half to work with. That's awesome.

And, you picked an excellent time to visit Disney World during the holidays. The crowds will start arriving the day you're flying out. Nice work, Super Mom.

To figure out what to do when, I'd first look to the Crowd Calendar on TouringPlans.com for recommended parks to visit and parks to avoid. Next, I'd check out which parks have Extra Magic Hours by using the calendar format that wdwinfo.com provides.

    Hence, here's what I'd do:
    • Dec. 11: hang at your resort or go to Downtown Disney
    • Dec. 12: Epcot in the morning, Magic Kingdom in the evening (Extra Magic Hours)
    • Dec. 13: Animal Kingdom
    • Dec. 14: Hollywood Studios
    • Dec. 15: Magic Kingdom (morning Extra Magic Hours), Epcot in the evening
    • Dec. 16: Animal Kingdom in the morning, Epcot in the evening (Extra Magic Hours)
    • Dec. 17: Hollywood Studios (morning Extra Magic Hours) [do this only if you can burn the candle from both ends, and make sure to take a nap this day!] - evening: people's choice (see how people are doing energy-wise and sleep-wise)
    • Dec. 18: Free morning/people's choice, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in the evening
    • Dec. 19: Magic Kingdom (evening Extra Magic Hours) - a great way to spend the last night of your vacation
    • Dec. 20: Character breakfast at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary
