Help! Leave 7/13. Conflicting answers about whether over door shoe organizers allowed. Thought it's a good idea. Also, I know power strips not ok- what about 3 outlet adapter that fits into 1 outlet? Worried about charging all stuff. Sorry for so many ?s!

Welcome aboard, Jenny! It's almost time to set sail! I can imagine you're ready to get those bags packed and head out to sea with Captain Mickey and his crew! You've got so much fun to look forward to, but I'm glad you're getting all the little details out of the way first. Good planning always makes for an even more magical trip!

Disney Cruise Line used to allow over-the-door shoe hangers in staterooms. However, they can cause quite a bit of damage to the doors and paint, so they are no longer allowed on the doors. I have another suggestions for you though. You can certainly bring a hanging organizer with lots of pockets that has a clothing-type hanger at the top of it. This can easily by hung on the hook that is near the bathroom door on the stateroom wall or a bathroom hook or in the closet.

Power strips and extension cords/plugs and surge protectors of any sort are not allowed as you'll see on Disney Cruise Line's Prohibited Items list. But, I'll be honest with you. We've never had an issue charging our phones, iPads, and cameras in the stateroom. There are a couple of plugs on the desk and I've found a hidden one behind the television too. You won't need a plug to charge one of your iPhones or iPods because there is a clock next to the bed with an iPod/iPhone dock that will charge it right up for you. Here's another tip. Did you know that if you put your phone or iPad in airplane mode it will charge faster? You'll probably want to keep it in airplane mode anyway so you don't accidentally load data when you're in foreign ports of call, and incur those high roaming fees.

If you stop by Guest Services, they do offer a few extension cords to borrow that are approved for guest use.

I hope those details help as you count down these last few days, Jenny!
