    Hi Julie,

Thanks for stopping by with another question. I understand your desire to "WOW" your children with the right Disney Resort hotel. Our family has been fortunate to stay at a number of Resorts, including twice at Disney's Contemporary Resort. It's one of my favorite Resorts; especially with it being located so close to Magic Kingdom Park.

The first time our family stayed at the Contemporary, my oldest son's first words when we pulled up and entered the lobby were, "wow! This place is fancy." He was instantly sold, and his younger brother quickly became obsessed with the Resort Monorail. After all, how many hotels have a monorail going through them? The entire main concourse of the Resort amazed our children, particularly the 90-foot-tall mural by Disney Legend Mary Blair. That first visit had them talking about the Contemporary long after our family came back home.

From the Monorail to the pools and recreation, to the assortment of excellent dining options, Disney's Contemporary Resort truly has something for everyone in your family. I think your children would have plenty to be surprised by and excited about. As I mentioned, we have stayed at the Contemporary twice and have enjoyed various aspects of the Resort with each visit.

Please let me know if I can help answer any other questions before your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
