HELP! Our flight leaves at 5:55 pm, which means we should be back at AOA at 2:00 pm-ish for ME. We'll be in AK for the a.m. Do we have time for a 12:00 pm Sanaa ADR, or should I make an ADR for a restaurant in AK to be safe? Would Boma be closer? Thanks!!!

    Hi, Beth!

Well, you have a happy problem, as your morning in Disney's Animal Kingdom will be glorious and the meals you're considering are equally spectacular. It's a win-win!

Regarding a noon reservation at one of my family's favorite restaurants, Sanaa, you might be able to make your (approximate) 2:55 pickup from Magical Express. Service at Sanaa is usually quite fast, and you'll be there early enough to beat any dinnertime rush, you might be able to be in and out in about an hour. Just tell your server that you're on a very tight schedule, so you'll need to put your orders in quickly. (Best to peruse Sanaa's lunch menu before you get there; it can be overwhelming on a first visit...but it's all so good!)

Should you feel that time is getting a little too tight for your comfort, you could grab a taxi right from in front of the lobby of DIsney's Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village back to Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Kidani Village is a smaller resort than her big sister, Jambo House, and the Cast Members there will be happy to escort you to a cab (there are always cabs waiting right there.)

If all of this sounds too complicated, by all means, book a delicious meal at Boma. Because it's a buffet, Boma will be a great way for you to get a fantastic taste of African dishes, and you'll be able to control the amount of time you spend at the table, since you are free to select your choices immediately upon being seated.

Finally, dining within Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park will ensure that your own resort is just one resort bus away from the park...also a great option, if you're at all unsure about the other two.

Best wishes for a wonderfully magical last day at WDW! Send more questions as you think of them; I'd love to help!
