Help with my FIRST trip to Disney World this summer! Ideas on FastPass+ uses would be great! Our trip is planned for Aug 4-10, with 5 days of park tickets starting on the 5th. We are staying on site (Carribean). 2 Boys ages 9 & 5

    Hey Charli-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My boys are the exact same age difference as your. We had the best time when they were the same age a few years ago. I am listing my FastPass+ suggestions requested time and again by my sons. So like Peter Pan says, “Here we gooo!”

Magic Kingdom Park houses some seriously cool dude rides. We love racing through the town of Tumbleweed on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The bats in the cave, the goats on the mountain and the dinosaur bones have fascinated my kids since their first “wildest ride in the wilderness.” On Splash Mountain get ready to be soaked. I would also grab my pick axe, meet the dwarfs up close and dig for gems on the Seven Dwarf Mine Train.

Epcot ignites “one little spark” for my kids as we Journey into Imagination with Figment. That dragon keeps them smiling the entire attraction. They love designing and racing an ultrafast eco-friendly car at Test Track presented by Chevrolet and even learning about history on Spaceship Earth. We arrive at Epcot before it opens and head to Soarin’ first to enjoy this amazing adventure.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is where my sons adventure over the Kali River Rapids and encounter reticulated giraffes during a Kilimanjaro Safaris tour. But what gets their jaws dropping are the Tumble Monkeys during the Festival of the Lion King stage show.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, my kids love Star Tours - The Adventure Continues because evading the Empire is what young Rebels do best. Toy Story Midway Mania! is fantastic and tests their shootin’ skills at many different fun digital targets. Silly Kermit the Frog is a fantastic host in MuppetVision 3D and be sure to look for the key under the mat when you enter. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is an elevator experience they will never forget.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
