Help! Coming in Sept and wondering about MNSSHP...does this go on during regular MK hours? I didn't plan on purchasing these tickets but don't want my 2yo seeing others in costume and getting candy if he isn't participating. How does this work? Thanks!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is an after-hours event otherwise known as a "hard ticket" party. This means that separate admission is required to participate after the park closes to guests.

It is possible that party guests will begin arriving (any time after 4 p.m.) and possibly already be in their costumes. However there will be no party events occurring until the Magic Kingdom officially closes at 7 p.m. Then the party festivities will begin for all guests who have paid admission, shown their ticket and received a wristband. The event ends at midnight.

The trick or treating, special shows and parade will be only viewed by party guests.
