Help! I can't find anything on the new Disney World web site. When are the value seasons typically? I'm thinking there's one in the fall and another in the spring?

    Hi Heidi,

There are many documented "rate" seasons throughout the year, but you'll generally find the lowest rates between January and mid February, mid July through September, and again the period just after Thanksgiving through the second week of December. To maximize your vacation dollars, I suggest determining average weather, special events AND rates to help you plan the perfect balance of your priorities.

While January will offer value rates, you'll often find many attractions under refurbishment. My favorite time of year is the Fall season to not only experience lower resort rates, but special events like Epcot's Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Another great time to visit is early May. The weather is typically quite warm to enjoy the Disney Water Parks, pools and the chance to attend Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival.

I would suggest utilizing the website to build itineraries with different travel dates. Be sure to check out the current Special Offers for additional savings. See which dates work best for you based on weather, special event and crowd level preferences. I'm happy to assist you with any other questions you may have about the best time to travel, Resort Hotels, Parks, dining and more, Heidi.

    Happy planning!
