HELP I just booked Magical Expres Service for our trip in April. What should I expect? One almost 3 year old

The Magic Express is a free bus that will take you from the airport to your Disney resort and back again.

A few weeks before your trip, you should receive special Magical Express luggage tags in the mail that you will need to put on all your checked bags. Then, on the day of your trip, simply go to your home airport and check your luggage as usual.

When you arrive at Orlando, do not go to baggage claim. Go directly to the Magical Express counter in the terminal. (Look for signs or ask at the information desk.) At the ME counter, you will check in with them and they will direct you to a line for a bus that will take you to your hotel. Depending on the size of the crowd, this could take anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes. A Disney cast member will help you get on to the correct bus. Each bus stops at 3-4 resorts. The actual time on the bus could take anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes depending on which stop you are. The bus is a comfortable coach bus. They can store any large carry on items or strollers in the undercompartment. At your resort, hop off the bus and check into your hotel.

Your luggage will travel to your resort separately and will be brought to your room 3-5 (usually) hours after you arrive. So if there's anything you're going to need right away, remember to carry it onto the plane with you.

Upon departure, you will receive a note about what time the ME will come for you at your hotel. This is usually about three hours before flight time.
