Help! Advice to take 2&5yo back for nap sounds SO smart, but pls help me picture the days' timeline. Seems like with bus travel, a 90 min nap, and bus back to a park, that's a LONG time off. Dinner res are mostly 6:30 for us. Staying at POFQ. Thx!!

    Hi Michelle!

You're absolutely right. In fact, I noticed most of my children's nap were taken in my arms, on our way back to the resort on Disney's bus. In my most recent visits, with my boys being the same age as your kids, I decided to let them nap in their stroller some days!

But, I always tell parents to consider their children's personality. My sons are flexible and won't be too bothered by change in routine or napping somewhere other than their beds. I know other children that rely more heavily on routine. For these children, I think it's even more important to take a break and head to their resort for a mid day rest/nap. This way, even if you are cutting a few hours into your vacation, you'll still have a smooth one overall. You'll appreciate the memories you create with happy, well rested children. Of course, in the end, Mom knows best!

I don't think you'll have a problem making your dinner reservations if your naps happen in the early afternoon, so this shouldn't be much of an issue.

Let me know if I can help you with any more planning advice. Have a magical vacation!
