Hello, We have a trip planned for our family of 4 during the last week of October. I've heard mixed reviews about the crowd levels in late October. Can you please share your thoughts? Thanks

    Hi, Jenny!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort…the fall décor and seasonal treats make for such a festive autumn vacation!

Generally speaking, crowd levels the last week of October should be fairly low, particularly on Monday through Thursday. Your arrival day may be busy because it falls on a Sunday, and crowds on Friday, Oct. 31 will be heavier due to Halloween. Keep in mind that Disneyland Park will close early on Monday, Wednesday and Friday the final week of October to host Mickey’s Halloween Party. If you want to spend the whole day exploring the theme park and then attend one of the party dates, you will need a regular park admission ticket as well as a special ticket for the event.

Be sure to experience Haunted Mansion Holiday and ride the thrilling Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy (both these attractions are specially-themed for the holiday), and don’t forget to splurge on Halloween-inspired treats available all around the resort! I hope this helps, Jenny, and that you have a “spooktacular” visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. Please write back with more questions as you put the finishing touches on your fall vacation.

    Wishing you magic,
