Hello, We will be traveling to with myself, my husband, two 8 year olds, and a 4 year old (who will not meet height requirements). If my husband and 1 child have a fastpass and ride first, do me and my other child need fastpasses too with rider switch?

    Hi, there!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Courtney. We're so glad to see you again!

We made our first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort as a family of five this summer. Now that we have a little one who's too little for some of our favorite attractions, we knew we would have to take turns riding so that no one had to miss out (except for the baby, of course). Disney's Rider Switch to the rescue! This family-friendly service made sure that four of us could take turns riding without doubling our wait time. In our experience, only the first riders needed a FastPass+ to enter the FastPass+ line. The second riders entered the FastPass+ line with their Rider Switch entitlements.

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app prior to your visit. It really IS magic at your fingertips! You'll be able to view any Rider Switch entitlements on this app along with your family's FastPass+ selections. Did you know you can now place food and beverage orders on the My Disney Experience mobile app? My family took advantage of this convenient feature many times during our summer vacation, and it saved us lots of valuable time in the theme parks!

I hope this was helpful, Courtney. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
