Hi, Elizabeth! It's the most wonderful time of the year to visit
Walt Disney World in my opinion, and it's a must do for my family every year.
You can enjoy your day in any of the
Walt Disney World theme parks on Christmas day. All four parks are open, and will be bustling with holiday visitors. I always recommend that wherever you plan to do dinner that evening, be in that park at rope drop in the morning. Do as many attractions as you can early in the day, then plan your
FastPass+ selections for later in the day.
The best part of Christmas for me is the
Candlelight Processional at Epcot. This classic retelling of the story of the Nativity is accompanied by an amazing orchestra and incredible choir. It's just so moving and beautiful, I always keep a tissue handy! The dining package is a must during the holidays if you want to guarantee a seat in the theater. I think choosing a restaurant is really up to what you'd like to eat, but my family loves the holiday atmosphere at the
Biergarten Restaurant. This is an all you care to eat buffet, featuring German favorites, but the oompah band usually does a special holiday performance. It's casual and fun, with great food.
Don't miss the
Epcot International Festival of the Holidays with the kids. It's so great to have them hear the stories of holiday traditions around the world.
Enjoy your visit!
Anna
