Hello, We are thinking about visiting Magic kingdom in October. We are planning to buy a 1 day pass to MK .. but would we have to also buy a separate ticket ticket to stay at Mickeys Halloween Party? Thank you so much!

Hello Cassandra, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.

I am so happy to hear that you are planning a magical visit the Magic Kingdom soon. Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. The decorations, the food, the spooktacular festivities are enough to make sure you have a hauntingly good time.

If you are planning to enjoy a magical day in the Magic Kingdom, you will need to purchase a valid admission ticket to enjoy all of the rides and attractions. If you have your admission ticket linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can make up to 3 FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance of your arrival. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can make your selections 60 days in advance. This will allow you to skip the Standby line for the most popular or your favorite experiences.

Guests who plan to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be required to purchase a separate special event ticket. Party guests will squeal with ghoulish delight when they receive a wristband that allows them access to all the fun beginning at 7:00 p.m. You will have a spooktacular time enjoying the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, HalloWishes Fireworks, and Trick-or-Treating throughout the park. Don't forget to check out the exclusive food, deserts and merchandise offered during the party. You can purchase your party tickets online or by calling (407) 939-5277. Hurry before they all disappear.

    Happy Halloween,
    Andrea
